FOCUS ON SUSTAINABILITY The Coincasa Spring collection is centred around sustainability and aims to mark the beginning of a pathway characterised by a growing commitment to the pursuit of eco-sustainable products, produced with respect for the environment and its resources. This new line of research by Coincasa identifies with the RE:SPECT line and stands out for its use of eco-sustainable materials and sustainable production and processing methods, focused on upcycling and recycling.
A vast selection of items relate the values of their designers and producers, the materials with which they are made and the working processes required to create them. A sustainable design is often characterised by an informal, authentic look. The use of natural materials, in their original form, as far as this is possible, determines the colour and textures of the surfaces of the furnishing objects. It only takes a few simple everyday gestures to make our homes eco-sustainable and more environment-friendly. Using energy-saving light bulbs for example, or favouring natural fibres such as organic cotton, silk, linen and bamboo, all organic and biodegradable, even better if they are dyed using colours sourced from nature, not to mention upcycled fabrics and recycled wood.
The goal is to create a ‘healthy’ environment that combines functionality and beauty with natural, new sustainable and reused materials.
Organic materials: organic cotton, linen, dyes extracted from flowers and plants for textiles, bamboo fibre and natural cork for table and kitchen accessories, lava stone...
Recycled materials: glass, paper, leather, recycled aluminium and eco-friendly plastic for decorative objects and
Upcycled materials: fabrics upcycled to make towels or ornaments, wood recycled to create photo frames, unique objects.
Materials from controlled production chains such as wood and paper from controlled, sustainable deforestation.
Low energy consumption lamps with Led technology and solar-powered lamps.
Coincasa also continues its journey on the trail of memories, experiences and collector’s objects: a unique object, a fabric with exotic designs, a colourful vase, a precious box. Exquisite, one-off pieces, just like our own unique experiences, for creating memories to be treasured forever. There are two moods: one is more ethnic and the other is dedicated to the world of flowers, with its infinite variety of shapes and colours. Flower garlands, eggs and bunnies decorate the table for Easter.
