Made a Mano, Made in Etna
Italian artisan culture, passion and research meet design in the lava stone tables.
A project that underlines the values of manufacturing and creative upcycling in a contemporary key.
Through a new fusion between matter and a new processing technique (ceramicization) we have a new product, better defined as "Majolica Lava Stone".
The majolica lava stone, for its versatility and its thermal resistance, adapts to any temperature, is not subject to thermal variations and for this reason it can be used for the construction of refractory slabs and fireplaces, for swimming pools, stairs, floors, wall tiles, mosaics, kitchen tops, bathrooms, sinks, shower trays, table tops, sculptures, etc.
It works with new techniques, always with craftsmanship and manages to maintain the wide range of colors and decorations typical of the manual production of ceramics.
Lava stone is worked in the city of Caltagirone - Sicily - a city with over 4000 years of history for the production of ceramics, almost 60 km from the Etna volcano, the only and exclusive source of all productions of lava stone products.
The exclusive collections of Made a Mano are the result of a renowned tradition and artistic experience.
